Holy Week at our Parish
You are warmly invited to walk with us through Holy Week, a sacred journey from the triumph of Palm Sunday to the joy of Resurrection Sunday.
Throughout the week, members are encouraged to fast daily until 6:00 PM, dedicating time to prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
Palm Sunday
Congregational Procession: 9AM
Sunday Devotional Service: 10AM
We invite you to journey with us through Holy Week, beginning with our Palm Sunday celebration on 29th March . As the prophet Zechariah foretold, "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion… behold, thy King cometh unto thee" and as Luke recounts, the disciples spread their garments on the road, crying out in praise as Jesus entered Jerusalem.
The morning will start with a congregational procession at 9:00 AM, departing from the church premises as we retrace the footsteps of that triumphal entry. Upon return, we will continue in worship with our Palm Sunday service at 10:00 AM.
Come, wave your palm branches and lift your voices just as the multitude did on that blessed day
“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Let’s walk together through the events of this sacred week, leading to the hope and joy of Resurrection Sunday.
Bible Lesson 1 (10AM): Zechariah 9:9–12
Bible Lesson 2 (10AM): Luke 19:28–38
Holy Monday
Holy Monday Service: 6PM
Join us this Holy Monday at 6PM as we reflect on Matthew 26:1–13. While the chief priests plotted against Jesus, a woman anointed Him with precious ointment, an act of pure devotion that He declared would be remembered wherever the gospel is preached. Her act of devotion reminds us that when we give our best to the Lord with a willing heart, He receives it as a fragrant offering, and no sacrifice made in faith and love for Christ is ever wasted.
As we remember His sacrifice, Holy Monday service also offers a time to break your fast together in community. Come be renewed in worship, reflection, and fellowship.
Bible Lesson : Matthew 26:1–13
Holy Tuesday
Holy Tuesday Service: 6PM
Join us this Holy Tuesday at 6PM as we reflect on Paul's urgent appeal to the church in Corinth. In a time when divisions arose "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos" Paul reminded believers that Christ is not divided. We are called to be united in one mind and one purpose, for the power of the gospel lies not in eloquent words but in the cross of Christ.
In the midst of a busy week, pause to renew your heart and refocus your faith. Break your fast with us after the service as we gather in worship, reflection, and fellowship.
Bible Lesson : 1 Corinthians 1:10–17
Holy Wednesday
Mercy Day Service: 6PM
Join us this Mercy Day Service at 6PM as we reflect on Jesus' heartfelt prayer to the Father on the eve of His sacrifice. In John 17, Jesus lifted His eyes to heaven and prayed for His followers, that they would be kept from evil, sanctified in truth, and made one as He and the Father are one. "I pray for them… for they are thine."
As we draw closer to the cross, come and offer your own heart in worship. Break your fast with us afterward as we share in a time of reflection, gratitude, and community.
Bible Lesson : John 17:1–19
Holy Thursday
Holy Thursday Service: 6PM
Washing of the feet service: 8PM
Holy Communion: 10PM
(New Moon Service to follow)
Join us for a sacred Holy Thursday as we journey through three powerful services. At 6PM, we begin with a reflection on John 12:44–50, where Jesus declared that He came not to judge the world but to save it and that His words are the words of the Father who sent Him.
At 8PM, we gather for the Washing of Feet, remembering John 13:1–17, when Jesus knelt before His disciples and said, "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet." This humbling act of service and love is open to all members.
At 10PM, we share in the Lord's Supper, reflecting on Matthew 21:1–11 and the triumphal entry that set in motion the events of this most sacred week.
Come and be part of this special evening of worship, humility, and communion as we draw ever closer to the cross.

Good Friday
Good Friday Services: 9AM, 12PM & 3PM
Join us on Good Friday for a solemn day of worship, reflection, and remembrance of Christ's journey to Calvary.
At 9AM, we gather to reflect on Mark 15:21–32, as Simon of Cyrene carried the cross and Jesus was crucified between two thieves mocked by many, yet steadfast in His purpose.
At 12PM, we continue with Mark 15:33–41, remembering the darkness that covered the land and the moment Jesus cried out and breathed His last, the veil of the temple torn in two from top to bottom.
At 3PM, the hour our Lord gave His life, we gather for High Mass reflecting on Mark 15:42–47, as Joseph of Arimathaea boldly took the body of Jesus, wrapped it in linen, and laid Him in the tomb.
Throughout the day, the church will be open for guided meditations, discussions, and reflections on the Stations of the Cross, offering space to journey deeply into the meaning of the Passion.
Come and be part of this sacred time as we honour the depth of God's love and prepare our hearts for the hope of Resurrection.

Holy Saturday
Holy Wednesday Service: 6PM
Join us this Holy Saturday as we enter the stillness between the cross and the empty tomb.
At 6PM, we reflect on Luke 23:50–56, as Joseph of Arimathaea laid Jesus' body in the sepulchre and the women prepared spices and ointments, then rested on the sabbath according to the commandment. In this sacred pause, we sit with the silence, the waiting, and the faithful watching.
At 10PM, we gather again with Luke 24:1–7, as the women came to the tomb at dawn and found the stone rolled away. Two angels appeared in shining garments and spoke the words that changed everything, "He is not here, but is risen."
In this holy night between sorrow and joy, gather with us for worship and quiet hope. Stay after the service to break your fast and share in a meal of anticipation and faith.

Resurrection Sunday
He is Risen! Celebrate the joy and victory of the Resurrection with us this Easter Sunday at 10AM.
As the Psalmist declared, "Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore" (Psalm 16:11). And as Luke recounts, the women came to the tomb and found it empty, the angels proclaiming the glorious truth: "He is not here, but is risen" (Luke 24:6).
Join the Celestial Church of Christ Elephant and Castle family as we gather in worship, thanksgiving, and praise for our risen Lord. This is the heart of our faith — a celebration of new life, hope, and the power of Christ's resurrection.
All are welcome to come and experience the joy of Easter morning together. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Bible Lesson 1 (10AM): Psalms 16:5–11
